The music from “Tarzan” had such a huge effect on me that I felt compelled to find a place for it in my story arc. And it occurred to me at the same time that Steven’s history was a hodgepodge of details, with no real cohesive force behind it. So here it is: a three-part tale, chronicling a boy losing the only family he knows, coming to grips with who he is, and searching for his place and the people he loves.
